Simon Cowell’s Unborn Son Will Not Inherit His Multi-Million Dollar Fortune
When it comes to money, Simon Cowell wants his son to make his own — even if the child is yet to be born.
“I’m going to leave my money to somebody. A charity, probably — kids and dogs. I don’t believe in that passing on from one generation to another,” he told the publication.
“Your legacy has to be that hopefully you gave enough people an opportunity, so that they could do well, and you gave them your time, taught them what you know,” he continued, though the interview may have been conducted before his baby news broke.
“Success doesn’t turn you into a monster. It enables you to become one.”
And as for becoming a dad at the age of 53, Cowell says he’ll have no trouble relating to his kid. After all, this is the guy that made One Direction happen.
“You can be cool as you get older as long as you’re, A) successful, and B) you can relate to younger people without acting like an idiot,” he said. “But don’t dye your hair.”
