Miley Cyrus Will Pull a Justin Bieber on ‘Saturday Night Live’

Saturday Night Live is coming back Sept. 28 and the show has some mega-stars lined up for its first three episodes.

First up is SNL alum Tina Fey, who will host the premiere episode alongside musical guest Arcade Fire. Miley Cyrus will then pull double duty on Oct. 5, serving as the show’s host and musical guest. The third episode of the season will be hosted by Bruce Willis, with a guest appearance by Katy Perry.

When Saturday Night Live returns for its 39th season, it will be without Fred Armisen, Bill Hader or Jason Sudeikis, all of whom left after last season. Head writer Seth Meyers will also be leaving midway through the season to begin his new job hosting his own late night talk show on NBC. Fey, one of the show’s most famous alumni, and Cyrus, America’s favorite troubled youth, are sure to draw big ratings for the show and provide an opportunity to showcase new talent. This season will feature several fresh faces, with many of the show’s veteran players having left in recent years. In fact, the only cast members still on the show from Fey’s tenure are Meyers and Kenan Thompson.
