Vanessa Hudgens Addresses Those Cocaine Rumors

Even two years after the initial incident, Vanessa Hudgens is still answering to exactly what that white powdery substance she was snapped ingesting at Coachella 2011 was.

In her latest interview with Marie Claire, the Spring Breakers star insists that it was nothing to get riled up about (a.k.a: not cocaine), telling the publication, "I couldn’t do anything but laugh [at the rumors]. It’s amazing how people like to create something out of absolutely nothing."

Hudgens is, of course, a starlet who's had her fair share of scandal. In 2007, her private nude photos were leaked online.

"I am human like everyone else. I am aware that there are people who look up to me. When mistakes are made, they aren’t intentional, and I constantly push myself to be a better person," she says of her past mistakes.

"A sense of knowing I’m part of something bigger than myself has allowed me to enjoy life more," she adds. "And not worry about the little things. Like paparazzi."

“I am so comfortable with myself – honing in on what I love and what makes me powerful. Things I’ve been doing lately, I’m super-proud of. So I don’t really care if someone doesn’t like it, because I love it.”
