British Man Pretended to be Justin Bieber Online, Convinced Teen Girls to Strip For Him
Robert Hunter, 35, has been jailed for 14 years after police discovered he was posing as Justin Bieber online and convincing underage girls to perform "sex acts on camera," which he would record. Hunter, who lives in the United Kingdom, was charged with 15 charges of inciting a child to engage in sexual activity and 14 of making indecent photos. Police say he targeted children not only in England, but in France, Spain, Italy, Serbia, Asia and Canada.
In total, officers say they found 800 videos of children, some as young as nine, in Hunter's home.
Hunter also convinced young boys to record themselves on camera for him, which he would then use to lure in more girls. According to the BBC, Hunter used threats and intimidation to keep his victims from speaking out:
But when they tried to back out he blackmailed them with threats.A judge presiding over the case called it the worst case of internet child sex abuse he'd ever seen.
