Luxembourg Celebrates A Royal Wedding
HRH Prince Felix of Luxembourg married his girlfriend Claire Lademacher of Germany today in front of over 300 guests. The ceremony took place at Basilique Sainte Marie-Madeleine in Saint-Maximin-La-Sainte-Baume, France, and was a smaller affair than his older brother’s nuptails back in October 2012.
Felix, 29, and Claire, 28, met at a Swiss boarding school, and announced their engagement last December. Their civil ceremony took place in Germany last Tuesday, which was only attended by members of both families.
Claire, now a Princess of Luxemborg, wore a gorgeous lace Elie Saab dress, complemented with the Grand Ducal family’s diamond floral tiara, and earrings loaned from her new mother-in-law, Grand Duchess Maria Teresa.
The couple will leave for their honeymoon following the wedding, which won’t be revealed to the bride until the very last minute, as is customary in Grand Ducal family.
