Chris Brown: Jay Z ‘Stabbed Somebody and Sold Drugs,’ But Got a Pass

Yep, he really went there.

Chris Brown’s new interview with JET magazine is making heads turn.

In the publication’s October 2013 issue, the 24-year-old superstar dishes on how his relationship with the press and public has been, some four years after his domestic violence case involving then girlfriend Rihanna.

This is something I’ve been dealing with for the past maybe five years. Anybody with a voice – Tupac, Michael Jackson, the Notorious B.I.G. – gets formatted,” he tells JET. [via CNN]

“Except maybe for Jay Z, who is accepted by White America because he shakes hands and kisses babies. No disrespect, because I’m a fan, but nobody brings up the fact that he stabbed somebody and sold drugs. He gets a pass.”

Brown of course is referring to HOVA’s 1999 stabbing of record producer Lance “Un” Rivera. Jay Z later pled guilty to a misdemeanor charge.

If that’s quite possibly the most alarming part of Brown’s chat with JET, is everything else vanilla, you ask?

Nope. He also talks about Florida teen Trayvon Martin, who was shot to death by George Zimmerman in February 2012.

“I identify with Trayvon 100 percent as far as living in 2013 and still dealing with blatant racism,” the singer says. “This generation is so used to racism that it’s normal; we don’t care. We aren’t on drugs or catching AIDS, but they still look at us as ni**as.”

Pick up the October 2013 issue of JET when it hits newsstands on Monday.

Sadly Chris doesn't see that he is a bad dude.He has a bad attitude, he's dangerous & he thinks he deserves a break. Wake up, Chris Brown, it is not racist to think you are an ass. You just are.

Really Mr. Brown? HE DIDN'T HIT A WOMAN! Repeatedly may I add. U get treated how you act. N!@@4$ aren't just African American. They come in all sizes, shapes and colors. That word was tied to African Americans because of racial ignorance of blind simple minded people. Sounds like you aren't doing a whole lot to change that. Keep trying to bring others down to your level. You could never aspire to be Jay-Z, you don't have near the class or charisma. Just proof you haven't learned your mistake. Sorry doesn't change it, your actions do. Guess I have to miss another incredible movie to avoid seeing your face.
