Jon Hamm And Amy Poehler Threw An Emmy Losers Party
There were countless parties last night in Hollywood, but none more up my alley than Jon Hamm and Amy Poehler's Emmy Awards "Losers" party at Soho House in West Hollywood.
According to E!, those who were nominated but never handed an award got into the party for free. The winners, on the other hand, had to donate $1000 to World Wide Orphans in order to gain admittance. Since everyone was either drunk, dizzy from wearing Spanx all night or hopped up on winning a gong, both sides collectively gave $30,000 to the cause.
"I wanted a place where everyone can celebrate, because win or lose it's about moving forward and having fun while doing it," Poehler said of the private event.
Those who donated got personally engraved Johnny Walker Blue bottles, which is kind of the same as winning an Emmy, yes?
Poehler danced with Allison William and Amber Tamblyn to a Pointer Sisters beat, while Judd Apatow, Leslie Mann, Jimmy Kimmel, Bill Hader and Zooey Deschanel chatted in a booth.
Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are the only Emmys hosts anyone remembers, and they hosted the Golden Globes.
