Fox Renews ‘Sleepy Hollow’ for a Second Season

We have our first hit of the season. Fox announced Wednesday that it has already renewed Sleepy Hollow for a second season, after having only aired three episodes.

Sleepy Hollow is the first new show this year to be picked by any network. Of the show, Fox’s entertainment chairman Kevin Reilly said in a statement: “The show has proven to be a risk well worth taking – it’s a conceptual blast unlike anything else on television and it all holds together with inventive writing and a fantastic cast.” So far, Sleepy Hollow has been a ratings success, in fact, it’s the most successful new drama on Fox since a little show called 24 premiered in 2001.

Sleepy Hollow’s second season will have 13 episodes, like the first.
