Taylor Swift (Finally) Admits She "Needs to Change" Her Approach to Men
Presumably tipped off by her long list of celebrity ex-boyfriends, the "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" songstress confesses that she has been
obsessing over chasing after the wrong guys, telling InStyle magazine that “needs to change” what she looks for in a man.
“My friends tease me about the fact that if someone seems bad or shady or like they have a secret, I find them incredibly interesting,” she explains of her usual type, adding that she's going to “sit it out for a while” while she reassesses her love life.
“That’s just a phase I’ve been in lately. I don’t think this should be how I proceed in life. It’s important to be self-aware about these things because you don’t want to end up with that guy,” she adds.
According to the 23-year-old, who says she hasn't been in a relationship "in a long time," she hasn't felt like she's found anyone close to Mr. Right just yet. (So, apologies to Joe Jonas, Harry Styles, Jake Gyllenhaal, John Mayer, Conor Kennedy and Taylor Lautner.)
"I’d like to think if you’re with the right person, you just feel great about things you’ve never felt great about before," Swift says. "At least that’s how I’ve heard it’s supposed to be. I wouldn’t know."
