Realty Byte: Christopher Meloni Takes Home $55,000 a Month for His NYC Digs
The former Law & Order: SVU actor has rented out his top floor condo in the sleek Park Imperial building in Midtown Manhattan to a young Saudi prince for a jaw-dropping $55,000 a month. And considering he was only asking $26K, that’s a pretty sweet profit.
Earlier this year the 52-year-old put a $12 million price tag on his luxe digs, then gave it a hefty discount to $9.95 million, only to decide that after no takers $660,000 a year is better than nothing. (I guess throwing in the new 2013 Porsche Panamera wasn’t quite a good enough incentive.)
And for the big chunk of change the mysterious prince will be able to live in a 3,000 square foot open floor plan that includes three bedrooms, a formal dining room, study and spectacular views of Central Park and the Hudson River high atop the 60th floor.
The resident royal will also feel right at home... you guessed it... with the royal treatment, from the 24/7 concierge service and fitness center to joining a contingent of equally impressive neighbors like Sean “P. Diddy” Combs and 007 himself Daniel Craig.
