Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger Want Their Rich Friends to Buy Them Thousands in Wedding Gifts

If you’re lucky enough to be a friend of Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger who no doubt spent a pretty penny to get to their luxe French nuptials, you’d also have to pony up even more cash to lavish the bride and groom on their big day.

For her second trip down the aisle, the pint-size punk princess and her Nickelback frontman hand-picked more than $36,000 worth of pricey presents from upscale Gearys of Beverly Hills.

CB! has uncovered the registry — and it’s not lacking in the twosome’s rock and roll taste — from gaudy goblets to gold-dipped cutlery.

The Canadian crooners must be counting on this marriage to stand the test of Hollywood time with monogrammed Chamart dinner plates and tea cups accented with fleur de lys in black (of course) to match her wedding gown — and worth a whopping $19,000.

They continue the Parisian theme with gold-flecked forks, spoons and knives by Christofle that range from $188 to $326… um… each.

Because Mr. and Mrs. Kroeger, who appropriately tied the knot on Canada Day July 1 in the South of France, think of themselves as rock royalty they obviously prefer to sip from Moser crystal gilded gold flutes that will set their rich VIP friends back $615 each and $185 pewter chalices (she wants 16 of those, please).

The gold placemats are the cheapest at $18.50 each, but sorry, those have already been spoken for.

But the $410 gold goblets are still up for grabs.

Take a look at their outrageous registry here.
