Jessica Simpson Sells Her Beverly Hills Panty-Dropping Palace for $6.4 Million
Jessica Simpson can now add $6 million big ones to her billion-dollar fortune.
The reality star-turned-designer has officially sold her Beverly Hills home after five months on the market, Celebuzz has learned.
Only she didn’t quite get the $8 million she was asking for, settling for $6.4 million with the new owners signing on the dotted line last Friday.
No worries, though, Simpson still making a pretty penny after buying the pad in 2005 for $5.275 million.
The Kerry Joyce designed custom-built Hamptons-style home is filled with Old Hollywood romance complete with 5-bedrooms, hardwood floors, crown moldings, high ceilings and exquisite architectural detail. Outside evokes a magical feel with the gated stone courtyard that leads to a koi pond, lushly landscaped park-like grounds and sparkling swimming pool.
But Simpson isn’t crying over her lost $1.6 million because she has plenty of room for all her lightly-used Shabby Chic furniture in her new 11,000 square foot oasis where Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne once called home. The mansion is off the beaten celeb tours path in Hidden Hills, Calif. and apparently well worth the privacy given that the 33-year-old blonde bombshell paid $11.5 million to live in the pap-free nabe.
The 6-bedroom, 6-bath Cape Cod-inspired crib is perfect for her little ones, 4-month-old Ace and 18-month-old Maxwell, and baby daddy/fiance Eric Johnson. And it’s not lacking in grandeur fit for the fashion mogul — sweeping staircase, huge swimming pool, Victorian-esque master bath and French doors opening to a private veranda.
