Alec Baldwin: ‘Rock of Ages’ Is a “Horrible Movie”

Just like Cher, Alec Baldwin isn’t too thrilled with his latest movie musical.

Speaking with New Yorker editor David Remnick at the American Magazine Media Conference Tuesday night, the 30 Rock actor revealed his disdain for 2012’s Rock of Ages, calling the flick “horrible.”

It was a complete disaster,” Baldwin said, adding that he only wanted to be involved because he liked the director, Adam Shankman, and the cast that included Tom Cruise. “A week in you go, ‘Oh God, what have I done?'”

And moviegoers are probably feeling the same way. The flick, which was first a Broadway musical before its silver screen adaptation, holds a 41 percent freshness rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

But hey, at least Baldwin got a kiss out of Russell Brand, right?
