Conrad Murray, Doctor Responsible for Michael Jackson's Death, Released from Jail Early
Murray was released at 12:01 a.m. and managed to slip away from a crowd of reporters and Jackson's fans who had gathered at the jail for Murray's release. Since his conviction, Murray has adamantly denied his guilt in Jackson's death, he continues to challenge his conviction.
In addition to a prison sentence, Murray's medical license was also suspended by the Medical Board of California. Murray's attorney, Valerie Wass, told the Los Angeles Times that Murray plans to practice medicine again someday.
