Get to Know Your Celebrity Blabbermouth: Former ‘Real Housewife of New York’ Jill Zarin
Talk about kicking a girl when she’s down.
Housewives fans know all too well that TV frenemies Jill Zarin and Ramona Singer were no strangers to cat-fighting on The Real Housewives of New York, but this may be one jab too many. Mario Singer infamously called out Jill on an episode of the hit Bravo series, so it looks like she’s just returning the favor by spilling some secrets of her own.
The 49-year-old ex-reality star, who was fired from the show in 2011, recently added her two cents to the reports that Ramona’s hubby cheated with a much-younger blond socialite this summer, by confessing that he also put the moves on her… and it creeped her out.
“When we were taping the show, Mario hit on me,” she told In Touch. “It made me uncomfortable to the point where I had to tell [my husband] Bobby to tell Mario to leave me alone.”
And apparently Jill wasn’t the only one who caught Mario’s wandering eye, but for the good of all womankind she decided to speak up now.
“He was always looking around,” she told the mag. “People would talk about it, but nobody would ever say anything because they didn’t want to hurt Ramona. They felt bad for her.”
The funny thing is, Jill says she will always be there for Ramona. But somehow we think the 56-year-old jewelry entrepreneur won’t be crying on Jill’s shoulder any time soon. Because what’s a loyal girlfriend for if she can’t talk to the press about her ex-BFFs less-than-faithful husband.
“Ramona and I lived through an incredible experience together, so of course, I will support her any way I can,” Jill gushed. “Mario flirted with me as I saw him flirt with many other girls. The best thing for her to do is to stand tall and move on.”
Well, it’s no surprise that Ramona has denied the rumors that her husband knocked up this unknown twenty-something. And believe it or not, she’s actually taking Jill’s advice and standing tall… by her man, that is.
She tweeted a pic of her happy “#familytime” (along with their little dog) on a road trip to visit their daughter Avery at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia over the weekend.
Take that, Jill.
