Realty Byte: Ryan Serhant Goes Inside Andy Roddick’s $12.5 Million Austin Abode

Tennis pro Andy Roddick has aced it once again — by marrying Brooklyn Decker (obviously) and putting his palatial pad on the market for some serious moolah.

The newly-retired athelete and his leggy supermodel wife have decided to unload some of their multi-million dollar real estate in Austin, Texas after four years as happy homeowners.

And if they get their asking price of $12.5 million, they’ll be even happier.

The comely couple have decided to part ways with their 5 bedroom, 7.5 bath waterfront spread that despite its size (9,000 square feet!) is pretty modest.

The super private two-story stone and stucco home has an open floor plan that complements the earthy elements of its lakeside locale — vaulted wood ceilings, polished concrete and rustic wood floors, tons of stone columns and other nature-loving accents.

And who knew the Roddicks had such a thing for rustic décor — with a good selection of candle chandeliers, stone walls, antiques, and a few modern accents thrown in. And we can’t forget the sappy wall-mounted messages courtesy of Mrs. Roddick of the words ‘smile’ and ‘love’ spelled out for all her visitors to feel and enjoy.

Speaking of entertaining, there are plenty of areas to throw a party, including a dark paneled study/library with office, an oversized formal dining room and a extra-long living room with seating areas, and French doors that open to the veranda, swimming pool, and separate game room with a wet bar/kitchenette and poker table.

Mr. Roddick didn’t pinch any pennies when it came to the kitchen with all the custom mill work, glass cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, and nearby breakfast nook with walls of windows and views of the stunning backyard landscape.

And nothing beats a cozy master bedroom with sitting area, motorized black out shades, and their very own his and hers bathrooms. That’s right, Brooklyn gets to primp in her all-white abode with steam shower, soaking tub and washer and dryer. While her hubby’s more manly bathroom suite has an open shower, ice bath, and conveniently placed refrigerator (yes, refrigerator) for a late night Coke or cocktail refreshment.

And if that’s not enough, there are four more bedrooms all with lake views that will sleep eight people.
