Connie Britton Wants to Return to ‘American Horror Story’
Connie Britton, a honey-voiced angel sent to us to make everything wonderful, says she’s down to return to American Horror Story. After starring in the first season, Britton left to star in Nashville, but told Rolling Stone that she’d be willing to don a witch hat and join the coven.
“I’ve actually have been talking to [American Horror Story] this season, because they’re down in New Orleans and I’m in Nashville. I’m said, ‘Okay, let’s see if we can try to figure this out,'” Britton told the magazine. “I’m like, ‘I’ll put [a pointy witch hat] on and jump on a plane and go to New Orleans.’ Yes, I would do that. As long as we can figure it out with [Nashville and AHS], I’m in. I hope it happens.”
Yes. This is a wonderful idea. There’s lots of lady-on-lady crime this season on AHS and Connie Britton is just the woman to come in and rally the troops to fight the real enemy: the patriarchy. That’s a free idea, Ryan Murphy. You’re welcome.
Britton also said that she’d be down to do a Friday Night Lights movie, provided the rest of the cast comes back too. “Tami Taylor is in, because I felt like I could have lived in that character forever. And, most importantly, Tami Taylor would be on board assuming and trusting that it’s a great script and that we would be in the hands of Pete Berg and Jason Katims and the other people who created this world. Nobody would want to do anything that would, in any way, take away from how great Friday Night Lights was.”
