Miranda Kerr’s Latest Exercise Tips Include Literally Jumping for Joy

When she’s not chugging down some concoction called “noni juice,” Miranda Kerr stays in shape by jumping for joy. Seriously.

The former Victoria’s Secret model, who separated from husband Orlando Bloom in October, claims acting like a total anime character the move really gets her through rough times.

If I’m having a challenging moment, I jump for joy. Literally. After a minute, I feel better, and after a few minutes, I’m really happy. Everything else just drops off. It gets me out of my head and into my body, and it makes me feel present,”the Self magazine cover girl tells the publication. “Everyone has challenges. But if you know your strengths and expand on them, you’re going to radiate.”

“Happiness is a choice we make. You can wake up and say, ‘Oh, I can’t believe it’s so cold,’ or you can say, ‘Oh, wow, this is a great opportunity for me to try out my new sweater.'” Kerr explains. “No one can be consistently positive, but why not make the choice that makes you feel better rather than the one that drags you down?”

Her other fitness tips include:

  • A “Miranda mix” smoothie with chia seeds, raw cacao, goji berries, fresh coconut water and protein powder.
  • Body brushing, wherein she take a dried brush and brushes it against her skin from her toes to her heart.
  • Eating gluten-free apple and banana muffins.
