'Fifty Shades of Grey' Movie Pushed to Valentine's Day 2015

Fifty Shades of Grey
It turns out the Fifty Shades of Grey movie won't be coming out next year, as initially expected. Universal has pushed the film's release date to February 13, 2015, just in time for Valentine's Day.

The studio claims the six-month delay has nothing to do with having to re-cast the role of Christian Grey at the last minute. Instead, it says, the release was pushed so as not to compete with the World Cup, because everyone knows about the massive overlap between fans of kinky books and competitive soccer. Pushing Fifty Shades to 2015 also avoids potential competition with Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, which was set to come out the same weekend.

Whatever the real reason, some extra time is probably a good thing for this already troubled movie.
