Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom aren’t giving up on their four-year marriage just yet.

The reality couple who’ve gone through their fair share of headline-making events over the last few months are putting their family first by enlisting the help of a marriage counselor, according to reports.

Since the NBA star’s Nov. 8 DUI arrest the Odoms have taken couples therapy very seriously.

“It was very emotional,” a source told Us Weekly of their first two-hour session. “They spoke about all their issues.”

The pair has faced marital woes since allegations surfaced of Lamar’s drug abuse and infidelity.

“Khloé has been very, very hurt by everything,” a source told E!. “There is a lot about Lamar that she is just learning and if they have any chance of making this work, there is a lot they need to come to terms with.”

Only now, things are moving in a more positive direction for the twosome.

“He is clean and has gained 20 pounds. He’s doing so much better,” added the mag’s source. “Khloe still loves and cares about him. But healing will take a long time.”

“They both really want to make this work,” said a source to E! News. “But they are not sure if they can. This is the first step to see if they have a chance of healing and moving on. Only time will tell.”
