Jesse Tyler Ferguson has a lot to be thankful for this holiday season -- he’s on an Emmy Award-winning show, he’s got a new hubby and he just unloaded his bachelor pad for a hefty sum.

The humble abode is in the hipster chic Los Angeles nabe of Silverlake and went to a lucky new owner as of Nov. 5 for a cool $1.1 million, Celebuzz has learned.

Ferguson bought the quaint 1,000 square foot Spanish-style spread in 2010 for $759,000 after a massive overhaul.

Before the Modern Family funnyman moved in, the house was in shambles just a year prior, according to property records.

Located in one of L.A.’s most celeb-rich ‘hoods, the treetop digs are filled with 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, a breakfast room, hardwood floors, and a fireplace in the living room.

But this is nothing compared to his most recent rock star-worthy upgrade. The actor with a penchant for bow ties reportedly just dropped $4.55 million to buy Gwen Stefani's former manse in the ritzy enclave of Los Feliz.

Located just a few miles away, the 4 bedroom, 4.5 bath will be Ferguson and hubby Justin Mitika’s newlywed nest. In keeping with their love of Spanish influence, the Colonial Revival pays homage to the 1920s with stunning rod iron details and woodwork. The $2 million renovation showcases a grand 2-story entry, 25-foot cathedral ceilings from the living room to the library, and French doors that open up to the patio, outdoor fireplace and waterfall pool.

Ferguson will be able to relax on his days off in the media room with projector and drop down screen, on the romantic balcony off his master suite or outside to soak in the cabana bath.
