Taylor Swift Apparently Doesn’t Have What it Takes to Be a Victoria’s Secret Model
Taylor Swift may have the pipes to serenade Victoria’s Secret Angels down the catwalk, but one specific model doesn’t think the songstress has what it takes to do what they do and strut her stuff in her skivvies.
Jessica Hart, one of the ladies who participated in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show Wednesday and the face of the brand’s Pink collection, told Women’s Wear Daily that she doesn’t see a model in Swift. When asked if she thought the 23-year-old would make a good Angel, Hart bluntly replied, “No.”
“I think, you know what, god bless her heart. I think she’s great,” she continued. “But, I don’t know, to me, she didn’t fit. I don’t know if I should say that. I think what you find is that for a lot of us, we’ve been working for 14, 15 years; what it takes to make it here comes from experience and confidence and knowing how to be confident with yourself. I think it comes with age. It’s definitely the benchmark of all jobs.”
However, Hart’s not the first one who’s ever thought the “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” singer lacked the skills to model for the brand. Previously, Swift herself said she would never see herself as an Angel.
She told an Australian radio show in 2012, “I don’t think I ever thought that modeling thing was a possibility. No, I could not [do it now]! Victoria’s Secret would not let me in!”
Well, you’ve got to admit the girl’s got one heck of a foresight.
