Prince William wants a PlayStation 4, But First Must Seek Permission from Wife

Today, the Duke of Cambridge attended the launch of BAFTA’s Give Something Back campaign, which calls on those in the entertainment industry to support and mentor talented youngsters who seek a career in film, television and video games.

“Give Something Back is a special opportunity for our supremely talented professionals to offer a small amount of their time, or money, to contribute to BAFTA’s learning programme,” William, who is president of BAFTA, said in a speech.

After, William tested out some games, including Hamster: Accidental World Domination, Vacuum Panic and Smiley Dodgems.

According to the Daily Express, the Duke got a sneak peek at the new PlayStation 4.

“It’s very addictive,” he said.  “I’d like to get one but I’m not sure how my wife would feel about it.”

Come on, Kate!  It’s the gift that keeps on giving; William and George could one day bond over a game on PlayStation 56.  William could say to his son, “back when PlayStation 4 came out, your mother told me my efforts were better suited to changing your nappies than plopping down for a game of ‘Bop the Hobbit.'”

Meanwhile, Prince Harry stopped in Cape Town, South Africa before traveling to Russia’s Novolazarevskaya Station in Antarctica.  Weather delays have pushed the start of Walking With the Wounded’s South Pole race back 24 hours, according to the palace.
