Liam Hemsworth on Life After Miley Cyrus: “I’m More Centered and Grounded”
So… just how is her ex doing these days? Well, what’s sure to be another Hunger Games blockbuster aside, that happy feeling seems to be contagious.
“Over the last five years I’ve learned so much. The first few years in LA were really tough and scary, but I had to figure things out for myself.”
By now anyone who’s followed Cyrus’ transition from child star to envelope-pushing performer knows that she and the Catching Fire actor broke off their engagement in September after three years as one of Hollywood’s most talked about couples.
Since making headlines he’s quickly learned that Googling himself isn’t such a good idea.
“What I always keep in mind is that I know what the truth is and that’s all that matters. I know I’m a good person and these days I feel like I’m more centered and grounded than I’ve ever been,” he added.
And one person who’s helped him get to that better place is his Hunger Games co-star and the girl everyone wants as their BFF, Jennifer Lawrence. The 23-year-old Australian is basically confirming what everyone already knows — her attitude is intoxicating.
“For a few years I went down a path where I forgot to be in the moment and enjoy the moment,” he said. “But being around someone like Jen, who is so honest and laughs all day long, I am forced to be in the right now. I’m much happier.”
