Stop us if you've heard this one before: Guy has a "no girlfriend" rule, promptly meets blonde chick, whom he confuses for a hooker, woos her, straps one on in front of her parents … You know, the usual.

Oh, wait. Doesn't ring a bell? That's because That Awkward Moment, starring Zac Efron as your typical guy and Imogen Poots as the target of his affections, isn't your average rom-com. It's hilarious, sometimes gross, and entirely raunchy.

Don't believe us? Keep reading.

This is a guy movie. That means Zac Efron, Michael B. Jordan and Miles Teller are not afraid to crack a few fart jokes. Just hold your nose, light a match, and deal.

There's real male bonding here (fart jokes aside). The boys take a "boner pill" and learn they can only pee horizontally. The plus for ladies is Efron's naked tush. And maybe seeing his six-pack will light a fire under our boyfriends' asses … but probably not.

The film puts the kibosh on any semblance of mushy gushy pillow talk  … at least it's more blunt in this case. Because enough with the rom-com PDA already!

So when Miles Teller and his gal pal are hooking up in the shower of her parent's guest bathroom on Thanksgiving, his buds obviously walk in on them and give the guy a hard time. 'Cuz it's just not cool.

One very important lesson from the film: It's OK for a lonely guy to just want to stay home and eat peanut butter ice-cream … except it's not, Michael B. Jordan, so man up! Teller's character actually throws his pint out an apartment window in the film, then drags him to a club. It's the stuff bromances are made of.

Finally, there's a scene in which Efron (lest we forget, a former Disney star) wears a giant plastic penis to his lady friend's party, only to accidentally dip it into a drink belonging to the chick's mom. That is all.

That Awkward Moment hits theaters on Jan. 31. Watch That Awkward Moment trailer!
