Actresses Julia Roberts and Marlee Matlin Coming to 'Glee'?
As the Glee kids are gearing up for Nationals, some new casting news has come to light.
One new surprise cast member has tweeted about her new role on the show.
Actress Marlee Matlin has joined Glee for a guest role as one of the judges at Nationals. She broke the news herself by posting the following pic on Twitter:

She later shared a photo (see above) with co-stars Darren Criss (Blaine), Chord Overstreet (Sam), and new cast member Skylar Astin (who will play a Nationals competitor), with the following message, "Me ad te@boys of @gleeonfox - @SkylarAstin @chordoverstreet and @DarrenCriss. Gentlemen all!! ."
As for news of Julia Roberts joining the series, nothing is set in stone as of yet.
Roberts was asked if she'd want to appear on the show at her premiere of August: Osage County (in theaters Dec. 27), she exclaimed to E! News, "Only if [Ryan Murphy] wants to take the empire down."
She'd be up for it, but only if she had some wild story arc. "If he came up with a some funny soap opera back from the dead moment for the last vestiges of the entire series, wouldn't that be fun!" she said.
