‘Duck Dynasty’ Star Phil Robertson Caught On Video in Homophobic Rant

Phil Robertson has been following his fundamentalist Christian beliefs that homosexuality is a sin for much longer than people may have thought.

Although his anti-gay remarks in a January GQ interview just hit newsstands, he’s been preaching his hateful words for years.

In a video unearthed by CB!, the 67-year-old took the stage at the Wild Game Supper at the Berean Bible Church in Pennsylvania in February 2010 and went off on a homophobic rant.

In the GQ article, the reality star said the “sin” of same-sex relationships are not “logical” and even went so far as to equate homosexuality with “bestiality.”

“It seems like, to me, a vagina — as a man — would be more desirable than a man’s anus, that’s just me,” Robertson said. “I’m just thinking: There’s more there! She’s got more to offer. I mean, come on, dudes! You know what I’m saying? But hey, sin: It’s not logical, my man. It’s just not logical.

“Start with homosexual behavior and just morph out from there… bestiality, sleeping around with this woman and that woman and that woman and those men,” added Robertson, who’s garnered support from conservatives amid the controversy, including from Sarah Palin.

After a resounding uproar from gay advocacy groups GLAAD and the Human Rights Campaign, A&E fired the Duck Commander Wednesday from the network’s highest rated show.

But somehow we’re thinking this won’t be the last we’ll hear of Robertson.

That’s because even three years ago as a church guest speaker Robertson took his right-wing beliefs one step further, calling gay men and women “heartless,” “ruthless” and “full of murder.”

“Women with women, men with men, they committed indecent acts with one another and they received in themselves the due penancey for their perversions,” he said on video before randomly teaching the crowd the meaning behind his duck sounds.

“They’re full of murder, envy, strife, hatred. They are insolent, arrogant, god haters, they are heartless, they are faithless, they are senseless, they are ruthless, they invent ways of doing evil.”

And because he truly believes in this so-called logic, he asks what the Pennsylvanians are going to do about it?: “Just run with them? You’re going to die, don’t forget that,” he said, referring to god’s judgement.

It’s pretty clear, the only one demonstrating hatefulness is you, Phil.
