Britney Spears Disappoints Fans in Las Vegas

Would you pay $2,500 for a VIP meet-and-greet with the one and only Britney Spears? Okay, well, let's just suppose you did. What if that "meet and greet" amounted to just three minutes three seconds with the "Work B**ch" singer? Talk about not feeling Very Important.

The pop diva was apparently allotted that amount of time for a photo op, after which disgruntled fans were ushered on their way, according to Radar Online.

Brit's superfans ponied up for the tête à tête with the Las Vegas Show-girl, but despite getting front row seats to the singer's Piece of Me concert and loads of merch, the steep $2,500 price tag seemed to be justified by meeting Spears in the flesh.

“Fans were told before the meet-and-greet that they were not to hug or touch Britney without her permission and they weren’t allowed to bring her any gifts,” an insider revealed. "And then once they finally got to meet her it was like smile, take a photo, goodbye. Each person literally got like 3-seconds with her.”

The kicker? She barely spoke. She just smiled and nodded and said ‘thank-you’ a lot.” How lame. Step it up, Brit!

I got to do a meet n greet with The Stanley Cup at a hockey game once. Only cost $10.00, the money went to charity, and I got a professional pic of the event that I'll cherish till I die. $2500.00 to meet who???

And for the record, I don't think you're washed up. You're the Queen of Pop* and always will be. People need to recognize and respect!

3 seconds, really brit. I know you're busy and EVERYONE wants to talk to you but that's $2,500. You could've alteast had a 10 minute convo with all of them together or lowered the price to $100 per person if that's all the time you had.

That means either they're retiring or their career is failing. Maybe both?

I'm glad. People who have money, or at least spent money they don't have to do stuff like this make me sick. I'm glad they were disappointed.

Why would you pay that much see to see someone lipsync anyway? It gois to show the lack of talent when studio mixing is required to make someone tolerable!!!

Not only could these people have put that $2500 to a worthy cause - homeless people or abused animals - they chose to spend it unwisely on a no-talent celebrity who still acts like she's a 15-year-old, making terrible "music" and still with the stripper routine. This is their karma for liking crap music in the first place instead of listening to more substantial work by intelligent artists who actually have a reputation for treating their fans with more respect. There's no way Sarah McLachlan - a true musical genius - would dis her fans.

If you've ever done meet & greets, that's exactly it folks! You meet, greet as you pose for a pic and then you're well on your way back to your sit. This is true for all meet and greets. Of course yeah doe are more friendly than others but there's no need to dis Brit about it. All m&g's are 10 secs long. Someone should clarify for people interested in buying VIP tickets.
