Peek Inside Ellen DeGeneres’ New $40 Million L.A. Panty-Dropping Palace
The queen of daytime TV can now call herself the queen of L.A. real estate.
Ellen DeGeneres and her Mrs., the gorgeous Portia de Rossi, just plunked down close to $40 million in hard-earned cash on a legndary Los Angeles estate that comes with its very own name.
Only, The Brody House is now the DeGeneres-De Rossi digs.
According to TMZ, the funnywoman bought the 11,500 square foot mega-mansion for an outrageous $39,888,000. (BTW, it was sold in 2010 for only $14.888 million, so the blonde couple really wanted to call this place home.)
And CB! has the inside pics.
The A. Quincy Jones-designed modern manse evokes everything about living the Hollywood dream from the glam entrance to the atrium living space, floor-to-ceiling glass windows and tons of sunlight that complement the indoor-outdoor vibe.
The new homeowners will have plenty of room for parties and party crashers with 9-bedrooms and 7.5 baths, a living room with library area, and formal dining room. Not to mention, their most famous entertaining neighbor is Hugh Hefner, who lives a short five-minute walk away.
But they’ll never even need to leave the master suite that has its own family room, study, terraces, and hers and hers dressing rooms that occupy the ENTIRE second floor.
There are also three additional bedrooms and baths, four staff rooms, an immaculate kitchen, and a breakfast area.
And the grounds are even more over-the-top. Surrounding the home are beautifully manicured park-like grounds with colorful foliage, mature trees, palms, rose gardens, a sparkling pool, one-bedroom guesthouse, and even a championship lighted tennis court.
