Chris Evans Spotted With Scarlett Johansson on ‘Captain America’ Set
Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson (who plays Black Widow) were spotted on the set of Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier filming in Los Angeles, California yesterday (January 13, 2014).
Also seen on set was Anthony Mackie who plays Falcon in the forthcoming movie which is set to be released on April 4th of this year.
Johansson was seen in an out of her red Black Widow wig, while Chris sported a few scars on his face thanks to some fancy movie makeup.
The L.A. Times has posted a report from the set of Marvel's Captain America: The Winter Soldier that includes a new photo featuring Evans and Anthony Mackie suited up as Captain America and the Falcon.
Evans also shared some insight on his character's relationship to Sam Wilson (aka Falcon), the airborne S.H.I.E.L.D. asset played by Marvel newcomer Anthony Mackie. “Meeting Mackie’s character, he used to serve, now he works at the VA counseling guys who come home with PTSD — they connect on that level,” says Evans. “I think they’re both wounded warriors who don’t bleed on other people. Cap has no one to bleed on. I think Mackie knows how to handle people like that. … Sometimes when things are bad, trusting a stranger is the way to go.”
Anthony Mackie is typically great in every role, so I’m excited to see what he brings to Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier. Launch the gallery to see more pics from the set.
