Anne Hathaway Almost Drowns Amongst Fans and Paparazzo at LAX
Actress Anne Hathaway and her husband Adam Shulman are seen here returning from their Hawaiian vacation in which she almost drowned while swimming in the ocean.
The couple found themselves being mobbed by fans and paparazzi as they landed last night (January 14, 2014).
During the couple's vacation, Hathaway injured her toe while taking a dip in the ocean, after getting caught in a heavy tide, and ended up having to get rescued by a surfer.
Movie mogul Harvey Weinstein revealed during an interview with Howard Stern yesterday (January 15, 2014) that the movie originally cast Anne Hathaway and Mark Wahlberg in the main roles of Tiffany and Pat in the film Silver Linings Playbook, which ended up being played by Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper.
The movie mogul explained that the 31-year-old actress' decision to leave the film was due in large part because of creative differences with director David O. Russell.
"Anne wasn't doing it," Weinstein said of Hathaway's direction from Russell. "And you know, she's marvelous and wonderful and she was my choice. I love her."
I’m guessing that she’s probably not too bummed over passing on the role since she went on to win an Oscar for Les Miserables.
