Kate Gosselin’s Twins Clam Up on ‘Today,’ Ruin her PR Campaign
There’s no denying that Kate Gosselin is hellbent on making her “I’m Not A Horrible Person, Nor Am I A Horrible Mom” tour a success. Last week, she and her twins – Mady and Cara – gave a cover interview to People Magazine, and this morning she dragged their tired asses to Today for more press.
“It’s your chance, spit it out, ” Gosselin said to her 13-year-old twins, who clammed up as soon as Savannah Guthrie started asking questions.
Does the public have the wrong impression of Gosselin’s twins and sextuplets?
“I wouldn’t say wrong. I would just say not the full story,” Mady said finally. “A lot of people think that filming our show has damaged us, but it’s only really helped.”
After seeing the interview, Gosselin’s ex-husband Jon expressed his disgust over the situation, telling TMZ it was “horrible” to watch.
“I’m going to handle this as a family matter,” Jon, who recently had a vasectomy, said. “I don’t want to affect the children anymore.”
In October, Jon told OWN that his kids have developmental issues which make social interactions challenging, and that they have difficulties with “wants and needs and manners and morals.”
