Jimmy Fallon and Seth Meyers Announce Their First Guests

As Jay Leno prepares to retire to a life of muscle cars and denim shirts, Jimmy Fallon and Seth Meyers are preparing for their new talk shows to premiere next month. We know Meyers is still waiting on his desk, but at least the two now have their first guests lined up.

For his late night premiere Feb. 24, Meyers will have former Saturday Night Live co-star and all-around delight Amy Poehler on the show. Amy Poehler will also be Jimmy Fallon’s final Late Night guest. (UPDATE: An NBC rep tells me that Poehler will not be Fallon’s final late night guest, but that doesn’t mean she shouldn’t be.)

When Fallon takes over the Tonight Show on Feb. 17, his guests will be Will Smith and Bono: just a regular, old slice of Americana.

Hopefully, we’ll get both sides of the story on that Golden Globes kiss.
