REPORT: Justin Bieber Faces Criminal Assault Charges in Toronto
Toronto is expecting their prodigal son, Justin Bieber’s arrival this afternoon. The 19-year-old singer is facing criminal charges stemming from an incident Dec 29. in which his limo driver accused the pop star of assault.
According to the Toronto Sun and the CBC, Toronto police were called to University Ave. and Dunas Street where the driver pulled over after Bieber attended a Maple Leafs game at Air Canada Centre.
“The driver for the (entourage) limo is making allegations,” Constable Victor Kwong said. “We don’t know how many were in the limo at this time and we are still working on the investigation.”
However, according to the department’s Twitter, police can’t confirm information at this time.
Bieber has not arrived in Toronto to face the charges yet, and it’s not clear if it was Bieber or a member of his entourage responsible for the alleged assault.
This is just latest story in the saga of Justin Bieber. Last Thursday, Bieber was arrested for a DUI, driving with an expired license and resisting arrest without violence. Bieber was most recently seen in Panama.
