Ashton Kutcher Enlists the Help of a Celeb Friend for an Unforgettable Surprise Gift

Ashton Kutcher is known for splashing some serious cash on gifts.

The actor/tech startup investor/entrepreneur reportedly bought ex Demi Moore a $100,000 Lexus sports car before they called it quits, he shelled out $70K to buy one of the exclusive 13,000 Tesla Model S sedans (and liked it so much he bought stock in the company), and let’s not forget his $200,000 ticket for a ride into space on the Virgin Galactic.

But his most recent present for a special family member required less cash and more friends in high places.

And it was no less awesome.

So who was the special little man on the receiving end? Ashton’s young nephew, Jackson, the son of his twin brother, Michael Kutcher. And it was the surprise of a lifetime.

“Ashton had Michael Jordan call his nephew for Christmas,” a source told Celebuzz of the actor, who made it back to his hometown of Cedar Rapids, Iowa with Mila Kunis for the holidays.

“It’s his favorite player.

“And it was so sweet of him to call. They may get to play basketball together this summer and Michael told him just to keep up the practice and to keep playing.”

Although the conversation lasted just a couple minutes, the memory will last forever.

Believe it or not, the Two and a Half Men star and the legendary Chicago Bulls basketball player are close friends. Ashton even caddied for the b-ball icon at his charity golf tournament in 2012.

“It was a friend doing a friend a favor,” added the source.

Talk about a heartfelt present! So we can only imagine what he got his ladylove Mila, who was recently spotted with her boyfriend of two years in Jacksonville, Florida last Thursday on their way to his bro’s wedding Jan. 31 in St. Simons Island, Georgia, as first reported by Celebuzz last month.

“The wedding was supposed to be in March, but they moved it up,” added another source.

“It was country-themed and super casual. The attire was all about khakis.”

Ashton and Mila aren’t walking down the aisle just yet, but this was the next best thing. The 35-year-old close knit family man was there to be the best man on his twin’s special day.
