Benedict Cumberbatch Emerges the Victor in ‘Sesame Street’ Challenge

Benedict Cumberbatch (Sherlock, August: Osage County, Stark Trek) stopped by PBS Studios in January to film an adorable Sesame Street spot with Murray Monster and Count von Count.

Murray tried to pull a fast one on the British actor, claiming to be “Murray-arty” (Sherlock’s arch nemesis on the BBC series is Moriarty).  Murray then presented a counting challenge, which Cumberbatch solved with the help of Count.

It was so much fun,” Cumberbatch told co-star Amanda Abbington after, according to the Huffington Post.  Both were in Pasadena to promote the show during the 2014 Winter TCA Tour.

The third season of Sherlock currently airs on PBS.
