Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are bidding farewell to all the perks of what earning $29 million in just one year can buy you.
While the songstress has been busy nearly popping out of her dress at the BET Honors on the East Coast, she and her house hubby are also getting their designer duds packed up out West as the unlikely couple are heading out of their magnificently massive Bel Air abode complete with movie theater, basketball court, gym, pool, and putting green.
Although with all that they’re leaving behind, we can’t imagine what greener pasture they’ll possibly find next.
Mr. and Mrs. Mariah Carey (we mean, Nick Cannon) bought Farrah Fawcett’s former prime property back in 2009 for about $7M and are now asking a whopping $12.995 million for the renovated digs.
The Hamptons-esque 7-bedroom estate sits on 1 acre and boasts nearly 12,000 square feet of living space that showcases Carey’s taste for the extravagant — zebra prints, gold gilded furniture, tufted couches with fringe (yes, fringe), her love of red gingham, log cabin living rooms, luxe marble bathrooms, and cascading crystal chandeliers.
And that’s just what you’ll find under the roof. The grounds are home to a huge lap pool overlooking Stone Canyon Reservoir, Moroccan-inspired entertaining cabana, and sprawling lawns.
