Leonardo DiCaprio, Jared Leto, Lupita Nyong’o Hit Up the Hollywood Reporter’s Annual Nominees Night Party
Leto, a best supporting actor nominee for his turn as Rayon in Dallas Buyers Club, was reflective about his first Academy Award nomination. “It feels like a gift,” he told THR, suited up in a sleek silver Lanvin blazer. “With the history of the Academy and the performances, I’ve been inspired by so many different people that are nominated this year. It’s a great year for cinema.”
DiCaprio, decked out in Armani, was surrounded by partygoers inside the bash talked Martin Scorsese (his Wolf of Wall Street director), and of course only had good things to say. “It’s amazing — it’s amazing the energy he brought to it,” the 39-year-old told THR.
“It sneaks up on me and I’m like, ‘Wow a lot has changed in just a few months,’ you know,” she said. “And I look forward to having distance from it and being able to take it all in and maybe look at the photos I’ve taken. I have so many photos on my phone, my phone’s about to break.”
