Rihanna Lands Her Third Vogue Cover, Still Hates Bras
Appearing — sans bra, natch — on her third Vogue cover, the often free-boobing singer is answering the age old question of why she seems to dislike putting her girls in a bustier.
“If I’m wearing a top, I don’t wear a bra,” she says in regards to her fashion rules. “If I’m wearing a bra, I just wear a bra.”
And judging by the accompanying spread, the “Stay” crooner definitely implemented that rule on set. In one photo, Rihanna is snapped clad in an Alexander McQueen crocodile bra. In another frame, the 25-year-old is showing off massive sideboob in a draped Versace gown.
“I love baggy things. I wear men’s clothes, men’s shoes, oxfords, creepers.” she continues. “When I was thirteen or fourteen, I didn’t want to wear what my mom wanted me to wear. I was very much a boy in my style, my demeanor. All my friends were guys. I loved things that boys did. I loved being easy with my clothes. I loved wearing hats and scarves and snapbacks on my head. It was my way of rebelling. I wanted to dress like my brother.”
“If you go into a men’s shop and try something, they would look at you like, that’s a bad bitch,” she adds. “You will never be stylish if you don’t take risks.”
