Charlie Day Lists His Silver Lake Panty-Dropping Palace for $799,000

The "Horrible Bosses" star puts his L.A. starter home on the market.

A couple of blockbuster movies and a hit TV show have paid off for comedian Charlie Day.

The Horrible Bosses star is bidding farewell to his Los Angeles hilltop treehouse for $799,000. And CB! can take you inside.

The 38-year-old dad bought the 1950s-style bungalow in the Boho enclave of Silver Lake more than a decade ago, just before he made himself a household name on It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia. And the quaint crib makes up for its size (just over 1,400 square feet!) with tons of charm.

The 3-bedroom, 2-bath is everything you’d expect of quintessential L.A. living from the sweeping canyon views sitting or lounging atop the multiple decks, patio and terraced backyard to all the sunlit rooms.

The hardwood open floor plan showcases the enviable vistas throughout, including the living and dining area with fireplace adjacent to the kitchen, master bedroom with its own walk-in closet and breeze from the private deck.

Day, who also stars as Benny in The Lego Movie, has actually already traded in the starter home for a very serious upgrade -- a 5-bedroom, 6-bath in the Hollywood area he plunked down a whopping $6.525 million for in November, according to property records.

And who knew Day had such flair for mid-century interior design. See for yourself in the CB! gallery above.
