Adele and Prince Working On a Single Together?
File this under: rumors we wish were true. British singer Adele stepped out for pop legend Prince's recent gig in London and the two musicians apparently spoke after his show. The meeting parking speculation that the two were working on a collaboration for Adele's upcoming studio album, but a rep for Prince said "[It's] not true. She just came to enjoy the show.”
Adele is working with former Genesis frontman Phil Collinson the new album however. Collins, 62, evidently wasn't familiar with the Grammy-winner's music when he was approached by the "Someone Like You" singer. He told Inside South Florida last month that “I wasn't actually too aware [of her]. I live in a cave [but] she's achieved an incredible amount and I really love her voice and I love some of that stuff she's done. So, to me, it's always an eye-opener. Educational.”
Since giving birth to son Angelo in October of 2012, the 25-year old has kept a relatively low-profile, opting for a quiet life with partner Simon Konecki. Adele's third studio album is expected to be released later this year.
