Third time’s a charm!

Talk show host Jimmy Kimmel is set to become a dad again – his new bride Molly McNearney is pregnant.

Kimmel made the announcement during an appearance on Ellen DeGeneres’ talk show, which is set to air in the U.S. on Wednesday (February 26, 2014).

He shared, “I’m having a baby,” and joked that lesbian DeGeneres was the mother.

Kimmel added, “No, I decided to have the first one with my wife.”

The comedian admits he’s nervous about fatherhood two decades after he last became a dad: “I have a 20 year old son and a 22 year old daughter and I’ve really forgotten everything. It’s funny because I was just with some friends who just had a baby (and) I was like, ‘There’s new ways to do things’. You hold them by the front of the neck now it seems.

“I told my daughter, ‘Listen, there’s only so much love I have to give – you’re gonna have to split it up with the new kid. There’s a finite amount of love and that’s that.’ So they’re dealing with it, but it is very weird at my age. I’m going to be one of those old dads.”

Kimmel already has baby names on the mind, and even has one picked out already.

“I like the name Karate. I think Karate Kimmel has a great ring to it,” he says. “I like to, you know, the Kardashians with the two K’s thing. You know, it’s nice.”
