Kim Kardashian Says North West Wears Hand-Me-Downs: "My Daughter Is Not Spoiled"
Though she has been showered with free swag from the likes of Oscar de la Renta and Stella McCartney, Kim Kardashian's 8-month-old daughter, North West, isn't concerned with labels. According to her mother, baby Nori "has not actually worn anything designer yet."
"Despite what it looks like on my Instagram, my daughter is not spoiled at all," she tells People in its March 10 issue, referring to the expensive baby clothes she has received from fashion industry pals. "Kids get dirty. She’ll spit up. She moves around so much. I saw this one cute dress that was $500 and I was like, ‘Absolutely not!’ I just want her in little onesies or leggings.”
"I've tried to put north in a faux-fur vest, but she hated it. She doesn't mind headbands [that don't] pull her hair," the new mom explains, describing her daughter's style as "simple, classic and really chic."
In fact, the reality star says she's been dressing North in clothes once worn by her 20-months-old niece, Penelope Disick.
"Kourtney saves everything and gives it to me," Kardashian adds. "Comfort is everything."
