Robin Thicke Breaks His Post-Split Silence
Following his split with wife Paula Patton, the "Blurred Lines" crooner has broken his silence to thank his fans for their support during this tough time. Though he's already cancelled three of his concerts in the midst of the separation, Thicke says his current headlining tour is still on.
He writes on his website:
I want to thank everyone for the well wishes these last few days. My fans mean everything to me. I’m looking forward to getting back on out on the road and performing in Washington DC this Thursday, and the rest of the tour. Looking forward to seeing everyone out there!Previously, Thicke says he had cancelled two of his shows because he had lost his voice. The concert venue for this Tuesday performance has stated that the singer scrapped the third concert to to "unforeseen circumstances."
According to reports, Thicke had called off his shows to try to get his wife to change her mind about their separation.
Thicke and Patton have been married since 2005 after meeting when they were only teenagers. They have one son, Julian, together.
