Jimmy Kimmel is Brought to Tears by 7-Year-Old Max Who is Fighting Cancer, You're Gonna Cry Too
Wednesday night (February 26, 2014) on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Jimmy donned a suit made of rubber bands.
Turns out Kimmel asked his viewers to have their children make and send in smaller pieces of the suit made using the popular children’s toy, Rainbow Loom. This wasn’t just another comedy bit either, all of their efforts were for a good cause.
Rainbow Loom, a hit toy that has created a frenzy among the elementary-school set, challenges kids to use a crochet hook to link rubber bands on a plastic pegboard loom.
The kids told Jimmy that he had to meet "Super Max" and after seeing this inspiring video Jimmy agreed with them and brought Max onto the show.
After the show, Kimmel donated the suit to the Max Love Project, which is dedicated to helping kids fight cancer.
Jimmy was so overcome with emotion at the end of the segment that he had a hard time getting out his words.
Watch the video above and try not to cry.
