WATCH: This Is Why Jason Sudeikis Is More Nervous Than the Oscar Nominees
Parents-to-be Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis have it down when it comes to complimenting ensembles for the Academy Awards.
But forget future parenthood or matching wardrobes, Sudeikis is more stressed out about getting on that Oscar stage… and here’s why.
Presenting for Best Live Action Short Film, he’s having trouble with his pronunciation of the nominees as follows:
Aquel No Era Yo (That Wasn’t Me) by Esteban Crespo, Avant Que De Tout Perdre (Just Before Losing Everything) by Xavier Legrand and Alexandre Gavras, Helium by Anders Walter and Kim Magnusson, Pitääkö Mun Kaikki Hoitaa? (Do I Have to Take Care of Everything?) by Selma Vilhunen and Kirsikka Saari, The Voorman Problem by Mark Gill and Baldwin Li.
But, no worries, he has a cheat sheet.
“I have them in my pocket,” Prada-clad Sudeikis told E! News’ Ryan Seacrest on the red carpet alongside his pregnant fiance Wilde draped in Valentino. “Rehearse? I’m going to be rehearsing even when I do it!
“It has phonetics. There are letters in here that aren’t even in the alphabet!”
“So I’m just as nervous as anyone nominated. I’m flattered.”
