Get Camila, Olivia, Kate, and Zooey's Winning Oscar Looks
They wowed us with their fashion choices and on film’s biggest night they put their best face (and hair!) forward.
And now so can you.
These A-list ladies’ Hollywood makeup artists show CB! how we all can get their Academy Awards looks step-by-step.
First up, designer (and Matthew McConaughey's gorgeous other half) Camila Alves.
"Our inspiration for tonight's look is classic Hollywood with a modern twist featuring warm and golden tones,” said celebrity makeup artist Patrick de Fontbrune.
Step 1: I started by moisturizing her face with vbeauté Undercover Agent Anti-Wrinkle Protecting Serum.
Step 2: For her eyes, I dabbed vbeauté Eye Never Anti-Aging Eye Cream all around.
Step 3: To even out her complexion and give a golden glow, I used a tinted moisturizer. Camila has perfect skin so this provided just enough coverage. I also used spot concealer around her nose and under the eyes for a flawless finish and a touch of eyelid smoother in Medium over her eyelids to even out the skin there as well.
Step 4: I went over her T-zone and eyelids lightly with Votre Vu Belle Poudre in Golden Medium and Medium to set the makeup in place. This also helps the eye shadow to stay put and make the colors stay true.
Step 5: Using Votre Vu’s Palette Play in Copper, I took the brown beige and gold colors and blended them onto the lid carefully.
Step 6: I then lined the inside and outside of the eyes with a soft eye liner and finished the lashes off with a black mascara.
Step 7: On the cheeks, I applied Vu-On Rouge in Amourette (available in Summer 2014) and dusted the pink blush in the Beauté en Bronze duo on top over the apples of her cheeks.
Step 8: Then I took a bronzer and applied it all over, carefully shading and sculpting her face in the process.
Step 9: Lastly, I lined and filled in her lips with Votre Vu’s Drawmatic Lip Liner in Naked and then finished off the entire look with Votre Vu’s French Kiss.
Revlon Global Brand Ambassador Olivia Wilde showed off her growing baby bump and that new mommy glow on the red carpet wearing a stunning Valentino gown and extra arm candy, fiancé Jason Sudeikis.
Inspired by the 1960s, celebrity makeup artist Melanie Inglessis created a classic French look with a sharp cat eye and dewy skin.
“We wanted the look to be simple and classic,” Inglessis said. “I created a very precise eye that makes a statement but still works well with her fresh skin and light peach lips.”
Inglessis used the following products for Olivia’s red carpet look:
Step 1: Revlon’s PhotoReady Perfecting Primer, PhotoReady Makeup in Nude and PhotoReady Skinlights Face Illuminator on her face.
Step 2: Revlon’s ColorStay ShadowLinks in Taupe, ColorStay Eyeliner in Black, ColorStay Liquid Liner in Blackest Black, Lash Potion Mascara, and Brow Fantasy on Wilde’s gorgeous green eyes.
Step 3: Revlon’s ColorBurst Matte Balm in Complex and Super Lustrous Lipstick in Pink Cognito from the Marchesa Red Carpet Collection on her lips.
Kate Hudson’s old Hollywood glamour came courtesy of Jennifer Aniston’s famed mane man, Chris McMillan, Living Proof celeb hairstylist.
“The look we did is a modern take on a classic 1930’s/1940’s hair style. I saw it as Veronica Lake meets Jerry Hall,” McMillan said.
Step 1: The key to this hairstyle was Living Proof Prime Style Extender. Because of the rain we needed to use a product that would seal the hair and protect it from all the moisture in the air. The product was our most important tool for creating a look that would last the whole night. I started by applying Prime to wet hair before blowing it dry with a round brush.
Step 2: I added a strong side part to the hair for a touch of glamour and applied Living Proof Satin Hair Serum to the ends for a polished shine.
Step 3: I then used a 1-inch curling iron to curl the ends and brushed through them through with a Mason Pearson Boar Bristle Brush.
Step 4: I finished the look by spraying Living Proof Flex Shaping Hairspray to give it a light hold.
Zooey Deschanel pulled off her signature ‘70s look at the celeb-rich party to be at, Vanity Fair's annual bash.
“Vanity Fair's Oscars Party look was inspired by Zooey’s Oscar De La Renta dress and '70s styled hair," explained celeb makeup artist Jorjee Douglass.
Step 1: I first prepped the skin with vbeauté Undercover Agent on Zooey’s face and neck, which gave us a beautiful dewy under glow canvas to work off of.
Step 2: For a natural, fresh-faced complexion, I swept Zooey’s skin with Elizabeth Arden Flawless Finish Perfectly Nude Makeup Broad Spectrum Sunscreen SPF 15 in Linen.
Step 3: For dramatic depth and color that lasts, I brushed Elizabeth Arden’s Pure Finish Cream Eye Shadow in Anchors Away across the whole lid and under the lash line. Next, I smoked out the corners of the outer lash line with Beautiful Color Smokey Eyes Pencil in Espresso. I blended both shades and highlighted the brow bone with Elizabeth Arden’s Pure Finish Cool Radiance Highlighter in First Mate.
Step 4: I popped the apples of Zooey’s cheeks with Beautiful Color Radiance Blush in Tearose, and then added luminosity with my new favorite -- Pure Finish Cool Radiance Highlighter in First Mate -- it’s so multi-faceted!
Step 5: I used Beautiful Color Luminous Lip Gloss in Sunset. The color was perfectly soft yet rich to round off the look in a classic way.
