Kendra Wilkinson Talks Giving Birth On TV: “You’ll Be Seeing a Placenta”
The former Girl Next Door is determined to “wow” her TV fans, she tells CB!, even if it means getting personal in the operating room.
And we think that just might do the trick.
“I want it to happen because I’ve been on TV for 10 years now and I thought if I have another season of my show I want to wow people,” the Kendra On Top star told Celebuzz at QVC's 5th Annual Red Carpet Style party last Friday in Beverly Hills.
“I don’t see anything wrong with giving birth on TV.”
“We’re planning the c-section, so you’ll be seeing blood and guts… a placenta,” she laughed.
The 28-year-old revealed last week that she’s actually due in May. BUT she admits she spoke prematurely.
“I just spoke with my doctor and he said that’s a bit early… we’re not taking her out early,” she said, adding her daughter will be born just a few weeks later than planned.
At least it gives the reality star, who's already a mom to 4-year-old Hank Jr., more time to prep.
“I’m definitely in the nesting stage… I just got done designing the nursery on the computer, now they have to come in and do everything,” she continued with her hubby, former NFL pro Hank Baskett, by her side. “Her birthstone is an emerald so everything emerald kind of flashed at me."
“I have three strollers already! I’m prepared!”
And when she’s not decorating, the fitness fanatic is trying to stay in shape with baby No. 2 on the way.
“I’m doing my pelvic tilts and everything so I have something after the c-section," she revealed.
“But my diet this time around, I’m healthier than I’ve ever been in my entire life," Wilkinson added. "I’m eating gluten free, low diary, and almond milk.”
