Basically Every CBS Show Will Be Back Next Season

The Good Wife
CBS announced Thursday that it has renewed 18 of its primetime series. This won't leave a lot of room for new pilots in the fall. But it's a pretty impressive haul so we'll break it down in parts.

For the cop shows there's NCIS, NCIS: Los Angeles, Person of Interest, CSI, Hawaii Five-O, Blue Bloods, Criminal Minds, and Elementary. All will be back next season. On the comedy side, CBS has renewed 2 Broke Girls, The Millers, Mike & Molly, Mom, and Two and a Half MenIn the news department, 60 Minutes and 48 Hours will both be back next season. The Amazing Race and Undercover Boss will also both be back for new seasons.

Neither a cop show nor a comedy, CBS has also renewed The Good Wife, perhaps its trendiest show, for a sixth season.

CBS previously picked up Survivor and The Big Bang Theory for new seasons. (In The Big Bang Theory's case, three more seasons, which, for those interested, is the entire run of the far superior Happy Endings.) This leaves only The Crazy Ones, The Mentalist and Intelligence up in the air.

CBS is one of the stations i have not watched in well over a decade and I still have absolutely no interest in starting anytime soon. I hope Aereo get's up and running so CBS finally takes itself off the air.
