Emma Watson Goes Braless on ‘Elle’ Cover, Talks First Kisses

Quitting Acting?
Emma Watson says she almost quit the 'Harry Potter' series.
Emma Watson is all grown up, and she’s pretty envious of those who are just entering the Hollywood scene now.

The British actress, who was cast as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter series at the tender age of nine, said in her latest interview with Elle magazine that she has been pretty “jealous” of her contemporaries these days.

Appearing braless in a Balmain cotton shirt and calfskin pants on the publication’s April 2014 issue, the Noah star explained, “There are all these actresses who have emerged in the last year or two, and they get to emerge as this complete human being. And I’m so jealous!”

Emphasizing that she wants to focus on a life outside of acting, Watson recalled an anecdote she read about silver screen veteran.

“I remember reading this thing that Elizabeth Taylor wrote. She had her first kiss in character. On a movie set. It really struck me,” she said. “I don’t know how or why, but I had this sense that if I wasn’t really careful, that could be me: that my first kiss could be in somebody else’s clothes. And my experiences could all belong to someone else.”

But not to worry, Watson has pretty much done a splendid job balancing work and forging her own private life. The 23-year-old was not only able to find love offscreen — with her most recent beau being Oxford ruby player Matt Janney – but she was also able to study at both Brown University and Oxford University.

So really, who should be jealous of who now?
